Our class novel this term is ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’, which is an adventure novel set at sea, where the main character is saved from drowning by a Japanese man. He learns a lot, not only about survival but also about the Japanese culture and country itself. Our class are working on art pieces called, ‘Mount Fuji’ and ‘ The Great Wave’ by the Japanese artist, Hokusai.
